Davydenko's form is much better than Ancic's at present, but this match is almost the biggest of Ancic's career. If he wins he finishes in the top 8 and qualifies for the Matsers Cup in Shanghai in 2 weeks. Normally I would be all over Davydenko in this match but I am wary of shifty business on his part and him letting Ancic win.

both players in terrific form. Mario fresh off a tounry win at Russia. Statisticaly this surface (along with grass) is his best, so he has Davy on a surface where he has an edge. He is also 2-0 Vs Davydenko in 2006, BOTH WINS in TMS events, no less

Davy lost to a similar type of player (ie., huge server and attacking volley game) in JJ two weeks ago
